Make Every Day Count
7 tasks done, 3 tasks carried over to the next 10 tasks list...
It's finally the end of the week, but as always, this is where the work begins. More time during weekends = more time to finish up work.
Came away from blood donation unscathed. Needed attention the last time I did it because I felt giddy (due to lack of sleep the night before). Not this time though. Can somehow feel my body working hard to produce new blood cells within me.
21st JCRC Investiture was yesterday and I'm kinda glad I got to sit with the B guys and girls, after 2 years having to sit at the high table. It really brings me back to my freshmen year and I remember my first formal dinner in Eusoff very clearly. Everyone was so young back then, totally fearless of what's to come ahead. Compared to now, everyone's a bit sluggish. Gone are the 'at least once a week suppers'. Gone are the weekends exploring Singapore. Gone are the 'talk about everything else besides hall stuff' sessions.
As we grow and our years extend here, our priorities change. Inevitable but understandable. Like I mentioned in my speech yesterday, our days are numbered in NUS and Eusoff Hall. We've gotta make every day count, starting from today. 1...2....3..................
