THIS IS IT
School has started and I'm into my final semester in NUS. You won't be able to imagine the level of excitement running in my veins at the moment. This is it, the final phase before moving onto another chapter in my life.
So it's the middle of the week now, but I'm done with my classes. Reason: I have two free days and I chose Thursday and Friday on purpose in order for me to catch up with the lectures and assignments.
My FYP still occupies a huge portion of my time. Fortunately, progress is good and the results look encouraging. In brief, I'm working on a semiconductor laser and it is supposed to emit a relatively high power with a low current. The maximum power achieved has been improving with every sample tested, so I can be assured at least the the sample fabricated in December is a good one.
Extensive performance test for the samples tomorrow and Friday, 16 hours of data recording (because the auto-recording software is not working). Looking forward to that because this is probably the most practical engineering application I've been involved in.
3 uW, 10 uW, 1.8 mW, 3.88 mW, 11.01 mW,.. ???
