It Just Happens

One happened on the bus, one on the train...

Both guys were too deep in sleep to wake up...

Both were awkward moments...

As I was travelling on the bus back to Singapore, I was sitting next to a guy who was supposed to get off in Skudai, Sri Puteri to be exact... The bus stopped, some passengers went down, he was still sleeping... and having remembered that he told the bus driver he wanted to stop there, I attempted to wake him up... Deep asleep as he was, he resisted my taps, shakes and punches... I just stopped short of slapping him in the face and pouring water on him... I didn't do that of course... he eventually woke up a while later and realized he missed the stop... rushed out, went off and I guess tracked back...

And now in the MRT in Singapore, my first experience of a guy trying to rest on my shoulders... you guessed it, he was dozing off... it was a long long time before he made his stop and went off... I wasn't the only one though... once he realized he was leaning towards my side, he propped himself up and his head slowly drifted to the other side, prompting the poor man next to him to sit slightly forward to avoid contact... and there he went, left and right until his stop came...

Two guys, two awkward incidences in one day... this could've matched the time I was asked for directions 3 times in 3 different languages in the MRT station and trains...

Dust Keeps Falling From My Skin

In the melody of Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head...

Woke up this morning and started sweeping the floor... My room is accumulating dust at a frightening pace... While it scares me a little to see the dirt laying around while I was sleeping the past few nights, it does comfort me that I have successfully removed that...

Something more needs to be done... Dust comes from everywhere... I can't count the sources... Firstly, there's construction going on nearby, dust could've come from there... My room's facing the road, dust could've come from there...

Remember my time in the clean room, the air was super clean, though I wouldn't say it was fresh, due to the chemicals used in the lab... Wouldn't want to have that environment for a long period of time though... the air was dry and the oxygen level was lower... The eyes could've popped out anytime and at times the nausea feeling comes in when you exit the room...

My floor fan looks dusty, it might be blowing dust particles to the entire house... dust from the books and paper and not to mention the skin flakes that's shedding at 7 million flakes per minute... No joke...

Guess a major spring cleaning is in order...

Taking the Chance

Something which I didn't succeed in doing today... not letting it slip again...

On the Right Side

Did anyone realize there was something different with the escalators today? Instead of moving on the left, it's moving on the right... Instead of going down on the left, it's going down on the right... they've switched...

Either this was a random choice or someone chose to do things differently this morning...

Don't Take The Girl

Take the very breath you gave me
Take the heart from my chest
I'll gladly take her place if you'll let me
Make this my last request
Take me out of this world
Please don't take the girl

Gone Without Goodbye

Have you seen my son?
Not too tall, 5'8"
She held up a coloured copy, photograph
From his wedding day

And this is his pregnant wife
Carrying his last dream
He walked down 46 floors before he felt the rush
The rush of gasoline

I can feel the pain
Looking in their eyes
But I don't know gone without good-bye
If I could reach the sky
I'd bring him right back to your arms
Though I haven't seen your son, he's forever in my life

And have you seen my faith?
It can run, it can hide
Jesus mend this breaking heart of mine
That keeps on loving life

Though I can feel the pain
Look into my eyes
But I don't know gone without good-bye
If I could reach the sky
I'd try to turn the world around
So that we could see the face of forever
Stay alive
