It Just Happens
One happened on the bus, one on the train...
Both guys were too deep in sleep to wake up...
Both were awkward moments...
As I was travelling on the bus back to Singapore, I was sitting next to a guy who was supposed to get off in Skudai, Sri Puteri to be exact... The bus stopped, some passengers went down, he was still sleeping... and having remembered that he told the bus driver he wanted to stop there, I attempted to wake him up... Deep asleep as he was, he resisted my taps, shakes and punches... I just stopped short of slapping him in the face and pouring water on him... I didn't do that of course... he eventually woke up a while later and realized he missed the stop... rushed out, went off and I guess tracked back...
And now in the MRT in Singapore, my first experience of a guy trying to rest on my shoulders... you guessed it, he was dozing off... it was a long long time before he made his stop and went off... I wasn't the only one though... once he realized he was leaning towards my side, he propped himself up and his head slowly drifted to the other side, prompting the poor man next to him to sit slightly forward to avoid contact... and there he went, left and right until his stop came...
Two guys, two awkward incidences in one day... this could've matched the time I was asked for directions 3 times in 3 different languages in the MRT station and trains...
